About The Thangs

Ezra and Rebekah are passionate about reaching the Burmese people. In addition to the church plant in Kent, Ezra has been regularly visiting the Burmese people in Vancouver B.C., Ottawa, Canada, Battle Creek, MI, and Indianapolis, IN, to encourage and help church plants begin in those areas. Ezra frequently goes to Michigan for preaching engagements. There is a Burmese Congregation in Battle Creek, Michigan (Emmanuel Christian Church) which joined Southern Baptist Convention officially in  December 2006. It is the first tangible results of Ezra's ministry.
