About The Journey
The Journey is a dynamic, authentic, Truth-driven church, with the goal of bringing glory to God through our everyday lives. We do this by loving people; reaching them where they are, connecting them to Christ, and helping them grow deeper in Him to discover the life that Christ brings.
The “North End” encompasses the northern points of Seattle. We have all kinds of people joining us from lots of different areas-many are from Bothell, Edmonds, Everett, Mill Creek, and Snohomish, just to name a few. The North End is a diverse area filled with families, singles, students, and children. This area is a “booming” area, with tons of new businesses, great restaurants, fantastic shopping areas, greatly respected schools, and homes, homes, homes! There is such a huge population growth in our area right now, and we are thrilled with the prospects of so many people moving into this area.

About The Mayfields
Chris and Cheramy have been married for over 13 years and have been in the ministry all of those 13 years. They have served in churches in Texas, Georgia, and Oklahoma. Chris serves as Lead Pastor of The Journey. They have four children Caleb, Taylor, Addisyn, and Josiah. Their passion for the unchurched, dechurched, dead-churched, areas of the United States led them to plant The Journey on the north end of Seattle, Washington in 2006.

About The Tiptons
Matt and Stephanie Tipton moved to the north end of Seattle from Houston, TX to assist with starting The Journey. Matt is an Elder, as well as Worship Pastor. He is also involved with various other responsibilities such as web, video editing, leading small groups and many more responsibilities in planting a church. Stephanie is overseeing the offering, as well as serving in Journey Kids, worship team, and various other areas of ministry. Matt and Stephanie are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl, Reilly Jane.

About The Savages
Matthew and Nikki have been married for over three years and joined the Journey in March 2008 from Louisville, Kentucky. God began calling them to minister in the Northwest even before they were married. Originally from Texas, Matthew most recently completed a degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Matthew and Nikki adopted a baby boy, Elijah, from Ethiopia in Dec of 2008. Both Matthew and Nikki are thrilled to be passionately pursuing Christ with the Journey Church and serving the people of the north Seattle area. |
