Church on the Hill
Bonney Lake is among the fastest growing cities in Washington. It has been a city for over 50 years, but has seen substantial growth in the last 5, and is growing faster than ever. There are new homes and businesses, and the schools are trying to keep up. It is primarily a commuter town, with the main income earner in the family working in Tacoma, Seattle or even Olympia. There are no major industries in Bonney Lake. It is primarily supported by retail businesses.
Church On The Hill desires to meet the need of this changing environment. The families moving here have different worship styles and interests than many of those whom have been long-time residents, and are highly unchurched. Church on the Hill began meeting in September 2007 at the Regal Theater along Highway 410. This provides a very visible location with a comfortable, contemporary atmosphere. Our desire is to have an atmosphere of acceptance and community. Everyone is welcome! |

About The Peters
Pastor Russ Peters has been pastor of Elhi Hill Baptist Church (EHBC), in Bonney Lake, since January of 1995. EHBC is supporting and sponsoring Church On The Hill, to help minister to a wider variety of people. Russ married Gracemarie in February of 1998. She volunteers as secretary of the church and helps wherever needed. God brought three beautiful children into their lives in November 2004 - Nikolai, Polina and Irina - to complete their family.
