Emmaus Church
The concept of Emmaus Community Church was birthed in the heart of Gary in 2005. The actual work of planting the new congregation began in 2007. We are intentionally starting this church as a 'restoration movement' church. We long to promote Jesus Christ and his teachings without agenda.
Woodinville, Washington borders two of the top 30 fastest growing counties in the United States, Snohomish and King Counties. Although the population is only approximately 11,000 people, the density of people is growing rapidly and within a 10 mile radius are new communities developments popping up everywhere. Woodinville and it's surrounding communities are the home of innovators and young professionals. The climate is secular and religiously pluralistic. The Seattle area is not a post-Christian culture, but a culture that has never been Christian and relationships are the primary strategy for reaching its people. Planting in the Seattle area is truly a missionary venture.

About The Chupiks
Gary, Molly, Josiah, Zachary, and Sarah love the Pacific Northwest! While Gary hails from Canada, Molly was born in Bothell, Washington. They spent their first 10 years of marriage in north Seattle while Gary attended Fuller Seminary and worked multiple jobs like driving a metro bus and owning his own painting business. Molly is the quintessential, hard-working mom who has a passion for prayer and worship. Josiah is the resident computer gamer and burgeoning entrepreneur with lots of good ideas. Zachary (fullback Zach) is our little athlete and loves to watch and play football with his dad (we love the Seahawks!). Sarah is the sparkle in the family's eyes and knows it! The Chupiks are united as a family in bringing a new church to the Eastside and Woodinville!
