About The Hallows Church
The Hallows Church exists in the urban sprawl of Seattle as a catalyst for God-honoring, Christ-exalting, Spirit-empowered personal, social, and global transformation. The urban sprawl represents the heart of Seattle. It contains historically and culturally significant areas (such as Queen Ann, Capitol Hill, Fremont, and Wallingford). The area hosts a major cross-section of cultures and sub-cultures, ethnicities and economics, youth and experience. Multiple universities are located therein. We believe we can reach the nations by reaching the urban sprawl of Seattle.

About the Arthurs
Andrew and Kim Arthur married in July of 2005 and are expecting a baby girl in November 2010. Long before Andrew and Kim met, God had been shaping in them a desire to proclaim the gospel and make disciples among those in an under-reached context. Andrew was first drawn to the Pacific NW through his preaching, camp pastoring and missions experience in the Pacific NW and Canada. Growing up in a non-Christian family with a mixed ethnic and religious heritage, Kim is naturally drawn to those who are unreached and/or diverse in background. God used Andrew and Kim's time serving together as campus ministers at Tulane University, New Orleans, to confirm this next step of their journey. Tulane is a university in the urban sprawl of New Orleans and boasts of being liberal and diverse in its social, political and religious environment. It was through learning to communicate and live the gospel in this environment that Andrew and Kim began sensing the Lord’s leading to plant a church in a similar context. They will begin planting The Hallows Church in urban Seattle in 2011.
