Our mission and vision is to love Jesus, understand culture and seek transformation for Jesus as missionaries to the city and to the world. This is accomplished through obedience to the Great Commission (
Matthew 28:16-20) to evangelize and make disciples, and the Great Commandment to love (
Mark 12:28-31). This happens when gathered under qualified leadership for worship, preaching and teaching as well as observing the sacraments of baptism and communion, and when scattered for mission into homes, neighborhoods/communities, schools and workplaces.
We are called Paradox because of
John 5:24, “Truly, Truly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgement, but has passed out of death into life.” All Christians have died and then are raised to new life. It is this glorious paradox of death and life that we as a church desire to see. This paradox is our goal.
